Your Main Tasks

  • Design high quality visuals
  • Create scalable, desirable, and usable concepts
  • Build user flows, wireframes & prototypes
  • Transform legacy products into new innovative solutions
  • Improve and optimize existing features and interfaces to strive for consistency
  • Support to define design patterns, document guidelines, build, and maintain a company-wide design system
  • Conduct user research (qualitative/quantitative) and convert findings into actionable designs
  • Visual consolidation of multiple software platforms
  • Ensure that the product meets web accessibility standards (WCAG 2.0 AA)
  • Specification of homogenous transitions and micro-interactions
  • Empathize with user needs, perspectives, and behaviors
  • Continuous quality assurance of the engineers' output
  • Design across multiple platforms and devices
  • Work in an environment with different processes such as Agile and Kanban
  • Help to expand our company with high profile customers through a valuable product
  • Understand business processes in the procurement industry of large enterprises
  • Collaborate with designers across different time-zones and locations
  • Partner with product managers, engineers, software testers, sales, marketing and customers
  • Demonstrate and discuss concepts with Stakeholders

Your Profile

  • 4+ years of professional experience in UX/UI design or related field (preferably in enterprise-level software)
  • Strong visual design skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Experience building and documenting design systems
  • Ability to create outstanding concepts, user flows, wireframes, user interfaces and prototypes
  • Familiarity with technical constraints and accessibility Standards
  • Experience with transitioning legacy products into new technologies across multiple platforms
  • Know how to conduct usability tests and measure quantitative data Points
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Passionate and motivated to build innovative products
  • Curious mindset with an urge to learn new skills, techniques, and tools
  • Ability to prioritize, manage workload, and embrace & incorporate constructive feedback
  • Proficient in industry design tools (e.g. Sketch, InVision, Illustrator, AfterEffects,…)
  • Portfolio featuring recent projects that demonstrate process, execution, skills, and ability
  • Fluent in English (verbally and written), upper intermediate Level in German (verbally and written)
